Well I thought I should switch back to more Japanese pictures before I bore everyone with so many pictures from Hungary. Hungary is such a beautiful place so I have so many great pictures from there. I wish everyplace would be so picturesque.

The little girls in these pictures are from one of the small temple in the Okazaki castle grounds. They are there to celebrate their third, fifth, or seventh birthday. Some of them are very very cute and received a lot of attention.

Kouyo (紅葉) this year is a bust. I miss the luxury of being only 30 minutes away from one of the best places to watch the changing of foliage in Kyoto. I've been so busy studying recently that I haven't found the time to actually travel. In previous years finding trees with autumn color is quite simple but here in Okazaki is a bit difficult. First of all there aren't that many trees. The trees that do exist are not as colorful or not fully grown to show any foliage. The best place to go is head east into the mountains but the only thing that head in there are buses. I need to find a bus schedule and where it will take me.

I'll let you know if that will work out.

But wait there's still more

Sorry for the long delay. The Japanese language proficiency test is coming up really soon and Yamasa is pushing us hard and cramming us full of information. I'm however am still behind and playing catch up is no fun. It's very tiring as a matter of fact. Only two more weeks to go and the load will lighten.

The long delay is also due to the fact that I'm in the process of transitioning to a new photoblog style layout but I'm having some doubt and little time. The new layout will have much larger pictures, which will useless for modem users. It also does not allow for much blogging. Therefore, I will have to integrate MT with this new system. This will take some time. Until then enjoy the minimum pictures I have.

but if you're interested this is what it looks like so far new me.
